Purchase of Products and Returns Policy
Thank you so much for shopping with The Equality Institute. We truly appreciate your order and support! The work we do aims to advance gender equality and prevent violence against women and girls, and the products we make are a reflection of our values and help us work towards achieving this mission.

In using the Services to purchase the Product through the Website, you will agree to the payment of the purchase price listed on the Website for the Product (the 'Purchase Price').

Payment of the Purchase Price may be made through Shopify (the 'Payment Gateway Provider')

In using the Services, you warrant that you have familiarised yourself with, and agree to be bound by, the applicable Website Terms of Service and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy and other relevant legal documentation provided by the Payment Gateway Providers.

Following payment of the Purchase Price being confirmed by us, you will be issued with an order number to confirm that the order has been received and that The Equality Institute may record your purchase details for future use.

We hope you love your products but in the instance you need to return or exchange an item, please follow the steps below.
Please note that we do not provide exchange or refund for change of mind.

How To Return Your Order
We are happy to offer you the option to refund or exchange your order within 14 days of receiving the item. Please follow the below instructions.

  1. Email admin@equalityinstitute.org within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include your reason for return, order number, photo of item and whether you wish to exchange or receive a refund.
  2. Ensure you follow our ‘Conditions of Return’ below.
  3. We will provide you with postal instructions and a Returns Authorisation number (RA#), which must be included with your returned item.

Conditions of Return
We are happy to accept returns for orders that meet the following terms and conditions, and that are received back to us within 14 days of arriving to you.

  • ⁠Item/s must be in the original condition
  • ⁠Packaging must be in original condition
  • ⁠Item must be received by us within 14 days of delivery date, any returns received outside this period will not be accepted
  • ⁠Item must include their RA number provided by us
  • Please note, sale items are not eligible for return

You acknowledge and agree that you are liable for any postage and shipping costs associated with any refund pursuant to this clause.

Please follow the above directions to return or exchange your order. Please do not post back your order before we have authorised the return, as it will not be accepted.

We are not liable for any returned items that are lost or damaged via post. We recommend sending your return using a trackable delivery method and keeping record of your tracking information.

Refunds & Exchanges
Refunds will be processed within 5 working days of receipt and will be issued to you via your original payment method.
Exchanges will be processed within 5 working days of receipt and will be posted to you free of charge.

Shipping Information

Shipping within Australia
All orders are posted via Standard Delivery with Australia Post, shipping is calculated based on size and weight of the total shipment and displayed on the purchase confirmation page.

For orders within Australia, you can expect to receive your order within 1-2 weeks of postage however, delivery times may currently take longer due to Covid-19. We are doing our best to get orders out to you as soon as possible however and we apologise for any inconvenience. International Shipping
All orders are posted via Standard Delivery with Australia Post, shipping is calculated based on size and weight of the total shipment and displayed on the purchase confirmation page.

For orders outside Australia, delivery times depend upon country. Please use the tracking number associated with your order to follow and receive updates. Pease note, orders that only include postcards are sent without tracking numbers.
